Committees are the heart and soul of our community.Every committee does an important job of
helping the board to manage and set policies that affect the entire
community.We encourage everyone to
participate in joining one or more committees.Throughout the year, the board may decide
additional ad-hoc committees are needed to address pressing issues, we
encourage that you join these as well.
Below is a brief description of each standing committee and
sub-committees.A more detail description may be found in the
By-Laws.
Budget
Committee
The Budget Committee is
responsible for the preparation of an annual budget for the ensuing year,
setting forth all anticipated expenditures and revenues, including the amount
of Dues per lot for the ensuing fiscal year;
Building
Committee
The Building Committee reviews and approves all new and
additional construction within the community.
Grievance
Committee
The Grievance Committees duties are to mediate Grievances
of Community members within the scope of operations of the board.
Nominations
Committee
Shall be responsible
for making up the ballots for the election of the Board of Directors; shall be
responsible for notifying the general membership of the ballot to be presented
at the annual meeting.
Planning
Committee
The Planning Committees duties shall be to plan all
community projects, including but not limited to; facilities, new and expansion
construction, creating bid specifications, reviewing vendor proposals, presenting
evaluations to the board for vote.
Recreation
Committee
The Recreation Committee is responsible for running the
recreational events, such as; Annual children events and parties at Halloween, summer
pool parties, Christmas, Fishing contest, etc
Public
Safety Committee
The Public Safety Committees duties is to assist in
evaluating the communitys needs and make recommendations to the board as
pertains to Public Safety issues such as Security, Public Access, and bus
stops.
The Rules and Regulations Committee shall, throughout the
year, continuously monitor all of the rules and regulations of the Association
for their effectiveness and if they are suitable for the good of the community.
And make recommendations for changes,
additions or deletions to the Board of Directors.
Shall be responsible for managing the various communications
vehicles available to the community membership; including but not limited to;
publishing of the Woodlander, Posting Signs, Web Site, Email, etc
